Businesses use Halmatex for a variety of reasons. For some organisations we are an integral part of their production, creating smaller sized rolls in length, width or both to facilitate their onward production processes. For others we are the fourth emergency service when things do not go to plan. Examples of these include and are not limited to:
Containers received by customers with all the rolls on the wrong size cores.
The diameter or width of the roll/core delivered too great to fit the machine
Cores damaged in transit
The customer’s supplier does not have rolls available in the required width in the time frame needed, but has stock available in larger sizes.
Our customer base varies from small businesses requiring individual or small numbers of rolls on an annual basis, to multinational organisations requiring full trailers on a regular basis.
Assistance with product development
Our experienced, skilled and loyal staff have the depth of knowledge to assist our customers with the development of new products. We collaborate closely with our Customers’ R&D departments in the strictest of confidence, giving valuable advice on all aspects of the slitting and rewinding process. This is becoming increasingly important as customers move to sustainable products that are suitable for recycling.
Our computerised technology can record all parameters of the slitting process to allow accurate reproduction for future orders once approved
Environmental Issues
Here at Halmatex we are consciously looking at ways to further reduce our carbon footprint and any negative impact on the environment. All our lighting is low power LED and our industrial waste is segregated by our service provider and recycled where possible.
Logistics
In our modern premises we can handle deliveries ranging from individual cartons to full trailers. We can arrange storage with full traceability and onward distribution as required.
