Halmatex slitting services can handle an extensive array of materials including but not limited to:

The majority of the materials we slit and require cold cutting, however, to address the tendency for synthetic woven fabrics to fray once slit, we have the capability to heat slit these fabrics up to 2000mm wide. The sealed edges reduce any issues with onward processing or end use.
The maximum input size roll we can accommodate is 2400mm wide, 1200 diameter and 1000kg in weight.
The maximum diameter we can slit and rewind to is 1200mm.

For some organisations we are an integral part of their production, creating smaller sized rolls in length, width or both to facilitate their onward production processes. For others we are the fourth emergency service when things do not go to plan. Examples of these include but are not limited to:
Containers received by customers with all the rolls on the wrong size cores.
The diameter or width of the roll/core delivered too great to fit the machine
Cores damaged in transit
The customer’s supplier does not have rolls available in the required width in the time frame needed, but has stock available in larger sizes.
In our modern premises we can handle deliveries ranging from individual cartons to full trailers. We can arrange storage with full traceability and onward distribution as required.
